CASTROL WORLD CUP CONFERENCE

A full mini soccer sports ground was constructed in the VOC Room at The Cape Sun Hotel for the World Cup conference for Castrol, an official sponsor of the 2010 World Cup.
Sight 'n Sound made use of data projection, a sound system with crowd sound FX and a full range of Intelligent & LED colour lighting to create the sports atmosphere

ENGEN WORLD CUP FUNCTION

This function organised by Imvula Marketing, was held in the very popular Bascule Bar at The Cape Grace Hotel - within walking distance of The Cape Town Sports Ground!! S 'n S created a wonderful festive atmosphere with our LED colour parcans and intelligent moving head washes & spots as well as a PA, stage and LCD flatscreen monitors.

ROYAL NETHERLANDS SOCCER FOUNDATION

Dutch government dignitaries & Royalty attended this grand Netherlands event at the Good Hope Castle in Cape Town - before their play-off match. This was co-ordinated by Hospitality Affairs and Sight 'n Sound were privileged to be commissioned to supply comprehensive sound equipment for this thrilling elegant function.

The new A-Team movie was premiered in Cape Town in the main foyer of Nu Metro, Canal Walk in August.
Hospitality Affairs who once again organised this launch, created a battle theme with the use of webbing, weapons, grenades etc.

Sight 'n Sound provided a large projection screen at the end of the foyer and flatscreen LCD screens for all the visuals, as well as sound equipment & lighting. Trailors were shown with appropriate sound effects.
Sharlto Copley, the South African member of the A-Team made a grand entrance on a plush yellow carpet - this was captured by our cameraman and relayed to the screens with the theme song playing.

We’re delighted to announce that Bryn Jupp has been appointed as our new AV manager at the Westcliff Hotel in Johannesburg.

Bryn joined the company in 2001 as a junior technician and worked his way up to senior technician. In 2005 he was appointed AV manager at the Mount Nelson Hotel, moving back to our HQ in 2010 as assistant Ops manager.

It’s Bryn’s intention to expand the business not only at the Westcliff, but with our other loyal Johannesburg clients, eventually opening a full scale branch office.
