THE TECHNICAL STAFF
| |  | Marc Taylor - Operations Manager
Marc has been with the company since 1997
and worked his way up from a junior technician to
operations manager and has now deservedly become a
director of the company. Marc not only handles all
the recce's for future functions, but runs continual
training courses to ensure that all our technicians
are totally up-to-date with the latest equipment and
technology. |
| | Bryn
Jupp - AV Manager at the Westcliff Hotel, Johannesburg
Bryn joined us permanently in 2003.
He is a natural 'people person' and together with
his technical skills, was promoted to our AV Manager
at the Mount Nelson in 2005. He moved back to our
HQ in 2010 as Assistant Ops Manager but was soon promoted
to AV Manager at The Wescliff. It’s Bryn’s
intention to expand the business not only at the Westcliff,
but with our other loyal Johannesburg clients, eventually
opening a full scale branch office.

Africa - I T Manager
David joined the company in October 1997 and is known
for his friendly, efficient and polite service. During
his loyal services over the years he has managed many
large conferences often International conferences
at The Cape Sun Hotel. David is totally responsible
for the company's I.T.

| | Carl
Lingens - Senior Technician
Carl joined us in 2005 having qualified in sound engineering.
He moved up quickly through the ranks and was promoted
to our AV manager at the Mount Nelson Hotel. Having
a creative flair for lighting, he completed the Martin
Lighting course. Thereafter he joined Bryn Jupp at
our Johannesburg branch. He has an outgoing personality,
polite nature and a willingness to learn. |  |

Hercules - Senior Technician
Damian has been with us since 2002
and besides being a competent, loyal AV technician,
he has excelled as a cameraman. |
| | Byron Fortune
Byron studied music programming and electronic music
production at The Cape Audio College achieving excellent
marks in both subjects. He is also a talented DJ.
He joined us in August 2010, has rapidly progressed
and has now been promoted to our AV Manager at The
Mount Nelson Hotel. |  |
| |  | Claudio Zabbia
Claudio joined us in January 2010. He obtained his N4
in industrial electronics and thereafter obtained lots
of experience as an av staging technician as well as
doing permanent av installations. He has already proven
himself a competant all rounder. |

| | | Devon Randall
After graduating at the College of Audio Engineering, Devon worked as an audiovisual staging technician and joined us in May 2010.

Rainer Gehrmann
Rainer is the youngest of our new recruits and has completed his Sound Engineering Course at City Varsity. He grew up in George and has gained good AV experience doing many set-ups for conferences at the Fancourt Hotel |

| | | Magnus Koekemoer
Magnus finished his Diploma in Audio Engineering in 2007 and has worked in the industry since then. He joins us as a Junior Technician. Magnus is also a qualified chef.

Joop Kaspers
Joop completed his Diploma in Audio Engineering at
City Varsity in 2007 and joins us as a Trainee Technician.
Joop is fully trilingual and apart from English &
Afrikaans he speaks Dutch. |

THE BACK UP
| | Lennox Gogela - Storeman
Lennox is our longest-serving member of staff. In
1993, his job was to make the tea
and keep the place clean. As our storeman he keeps
a tight rein on the maintenance and stock control
of all our vast range of hire and staging equipment.

| |  | Moegsien Sied - Maintenance & Set Building
Moegsien has been our maintenance technician since
the year 2000 and under Mike Sack's
direction builds all our stage sets, speciality brackets,
stands etc. |
THE ADMINISTRATION

Nicky Taylor - Bookkeeper / Front Office Manager
Nicky joined us in 1996 and is our super-efficient admin lady. Nicky handles all things admin, from scheduling the technicians for their daily work to sourcing and hiring in of equipment, to dealing with all insurance claims, staff medical aid, vehicle maintenance and all the booking as well. |  |
| |  | Tanya Williams - Receptionist
As Nicky's assistant / receptionist, Tanya not only answers the phones, but also keeps tabs on stock control and paperwork. |
